After ten consecutive years of Lyme Bay Winery products being recognised with Great Taste Awards, we are delighted to announce that we have now been accredited as a Great Taste Producer by the Guild of Fine Food.

Great Taste is the largest and most trusted accreditation scheme for specialty and fine food and drink. Established in 1994, it encourages and mentors artisan food producers, offering a unique benchmarking and product evaluation service leading to an independent accreditation that enables small food and drink businesses to compete against supermarket premium own label brands.

According to the Guild of Fine Food, the Great Taste Producer logo can only be used by producers with a proven track record of winning Great Taste for a minimum of three years, which must have been achieved in the preceding five years.

“Becoming an accredited Great Taste Producer is a real honour and we are all really excited about what we have achieved,” says James Lambert, Director of Lyme Bay Winery. “We are simply delighted to receive it as it represents our successful longevity within the Great Taste Awards system.”

As well as the prestigious accreditation, 2015 has been another successful year for Lyme Bay at the Great Taste Awards, as we also achieved One-Star Gold for our Elderflower Sparkling Wine, Damson Gin Reserve, Honey Liqueur, Ginger Wine and Moniack Mead.
