Otter Ales: Top quality cask conditioned beer

Set up at the same time as Lyme Bay Winery, back in the early 90s, by David and Mary McCaig. The brewery is located in the Blackdown Hills about ten miles from the winery.

The original objective was to run a small micro-brewery, supplying a few local real ale houses with top quality cask conditioned beer. Now, 17 years later, their state of the art 80 barrel brewing is producing some of the most popular beers in the West Country.

In 2008, Otter Head was awarded a Triple Gold Star at the Great Taste Awards, a fantastic achievement that underlines the quality of these beers.
